How to limit battery charge

Hi all,

I am using a few old oneplus phones with pmos as a cheap homelab.

The thing is that they are permanently connected and I would like to limit the charge to something like 40% to prevent battery from swolling but I couldn’t find how to do it.

Any ideas?
