Reddit is still a thing?
100% yes! I have a few quite niche hobbies and pretty much half of all questions and topics I google are linked Reddit threads.
I use Brave, and a lot of the balancing of search results is done by adding forum threads, which is often and sadly Reddit, because there’s a sub for pretty much anything!
My GF uses DuckDuckGo and tells me the same. For “normal” stuff it’s listed nowhere, but as soon something gets more special, Reddit is the #1.
Especially true for LLMs, Reddit (and forums) is also sometimes cited as source.
Good news is that I’ve already seen quite a few Lemmy threads too :)
